These pages have been completely revised in 2020. Although they are mostly a compilation of our photos from trips taken in 2006 and 2007, additional photos and commentary suggest more attractions of interest to visitors now. Regardless, there is a timeless nature to these destinations that remains alluring: their history, culture, architecture, cuisine, traditions and spirit.
 

Our flights from Canada took us in an arc over the polar region with amazing sights of wild Alaska and Siberia below.

Our destinations included Singapore, Korea, China, and Thailand.

The airports in the major Asian cities are remarkable, with technological delights, themed shopping areas, gardens and other attractions.
 

What we found most wonderful was the juxtaposition of antiquity and modernity, tradition and innovation.
